Growing so fast!

Leah is growing up so quickly and was 11 lbs/23 inches at her last appointment. Her new tricks include: putting her entire fist in her mouth (quite a feat), holding onto toys (and Mommy's hair), smiling often, and testing out her voice. She has FINALLY gotten over her constant fussiness and now only cries when she needs something or is just overly tired.

Leah had fun celebrating her 2 month birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Bogner on November 24th.

Miss Leah has decided that she loves bath time. It's so cute watching her kick her legs and splash with her hands. She doesn't even fuss when Mom pours water over her head...we think she'll be a swimmer like Daddy ; )

Leah is getting so big. Even though baseball season is over, I had to put her in her Cardinal outfit before she outgrew it!

Leah met some fellow babies and future pals! Mom and Dad got to commiserate with some fellow parents. Jamie and Megan swapped babies for awhile. Jack's sure a cutie!

Leah met her Grandma and Grandpa Jacobs, her Aunt Molly and her cousins last weekend. She also got to meet her Great Aunt Tina and Uncle Ted.

The weekend of Aunts!

Leah's great Aunt Tibbie, great Aunt Cheri, and Aunt Cheryl all came to visit her this weekend. Aunt Tibbie flew in all the way from Arizona to meet her! She is one lucky lady to have such a great family.

Little Miss Leah prefers to sleep the day away and party at night. Mom and Dad are still trying to break her of this habit!

Leah was spoiled all weekend by visitors. We look forward to all of you meeting her soon!

Leah likes to sleep in her bassinet rolled up like a little burrito! We don't care how she sleeps, as long as she does!

Leah's first bath

Leah hated her first bath, but calmed down when we wrapped her in uncle Seth's gift...a fuzzy bathrobe.

Tummy time

The doctor recommended that Leah be on her tummy up to a half and hour each day to build up her neck strength. She's over it after about 10 minutes, but she's doing really well. She has already learned how to hoist herself up over the boppy pillow!

Happy Monday!

Hi Everyone,

Today Leah is 5 days old, and has gained 6 Ounces. Yes, today was the first trip to the pediatrician, and he reports that her new weight is 7 lbs 11 oz. She is healthy, and has a vigorous appetite. She is eating about every 1.5-2 hours, and is still keeping mama up all night. We have had some visitors who gave Leah lots of love and attention.

Hi Everyone,

Trying to get used to all of the changes this little one is imposing. Mama is feeling good, and recovering quickly. Grama Laurie is a HUGE help, and is keeping us fed and in clean clothes!
