Tummy time

The doctor recommended that Leah be on her tummy up to a half and hour each day to build up her neck strength. She's over it after about 10 minutes, but she's doing really well. She has already learned how to hoist herself up over the boppy pillow!

Happy Monday!

Hi Everyone,

Today Leah is 5 days old, and has gained 6 Ounces. Yes, today was the first trip to the pediatrician, and he reports that her new weight is 7 lbs 11 oz. She is healthy, and has a vigorous appetite. She is eating about every 1.5-2 hours, and is still keeping mama up all night. We have had some visitors who gave Leah lots of love and attention.

Trying to get used to all of the changes this little one is imposing. Mama is feeling good, and recovering quickly. Grama Laurie is a HUGE help, and is keeping us fed and in clean clothes!

With only 13 days to go until our due date, Megan's belly is RAPIDLY growing. We don't know much about our little one, except that he/she isn't going to be little!

Less than 2 weeks!

Our due date, September 27th, is just two weeks away. We are so excited to meet our little "bug." Baby Jacobs has kept us guessing so far, and we STILL don't have a clue whether she's a she or he's a he : ) All we know at this point is that it's a powerful kicker and puncher and a night owl.
