At 6 months and nearly 3 years old, Leah and Maura are buds. Leah loves making Maura smile and Maura watches Leah with adoration. Ah, if only it could stay this way...

I gave Leah a sheet of stickers the other day and then turned my back... Leah said, "Look Mommy, I decorated her! Maura takes the abuse like a champ : )

Summer Fun

We've been having a blast this summer so far! Gardening and backyard pool parties have been the biggest hits. We visited the Morton Arboretum the other day and Leah had a blast picking "flowers" (clover) and running through the tree maze. Aunt Bibby is visiting from AZ and the girls are enjoying their time with her as well.

At 3 months, Maura can't get enough of Leah. She loves watching her and I can actually SEE those little wheels spinning. She's plotting to be just like her!

Maura will be 2 months on Thursday, such a crazy thought. Time really does fly when life consists only of diapers, cleanups, naps, nursing...repeat!

Growing fast!

I can't believe how quickly Maura is growing. She is becoming much more alert and playful and loves to smile and "talk"! She is still a great sleeper and an overall good baby.

Leah loves Maura Moo. She can't get enough of snuggling with her and reading her books! What a relief : )

WELCOME BABY MAURA

Maura Elizabeth joined us on Monday morning. She weighed 8lbs 50z and was 20 inches long. She is a great baby so far, content and sleeping! Big sister Leah isn't quite sure about her yet, though she does love to hold and kiss her.
